Last Shoot of 2009

Where did this year go? I started this year with much anxiety about starting my own business. Now I am excited about what God has in store for me in 2010!

I had to post this picture as I was updating this great and "BIG" families shoot today....I saw this picture and completely fell in love...It might just be my favorite shot of all time! How sweet are they. I just hope I am as blessed as this couple when I am this age with such a great family!

BTW check out thier feet kicked up as they kiss.....I LOVE IT!

I Love this time of year because I get to photograph some of the sweetest families and this family is no exception. These pictures do not do thier personality justice or at least not thier son's. He is so engaging I could listen to story after story...oh & I hope Santa brings him all of his long list of Video games. Yes this is against my better judgement but she loved this gator through the whole Shoot!

This Family is one of those incredible reasons that I love my job! I Have been doing their family photos for a couple of years now and I look forward to it every year! Kaden has taken some of my best portraits! He has the most energy of any child I know I wish I could bottle it up! Ava is Simple put GORGEOUS! She is Easy to photograph and a joy to be around!

Happy Birthday to ME!

So most of you know that I was having a hard time turning 31. 30 was ok but now I'm in my 30's UGH! With that being said I had the BEST Birthday Ever! The night before (my Birthday Eve) I had a "Maurice's" Party where me and my besties shopped the night away...it was a great time! Then They took me to lunch at my favorite Place "LA HA". Then I was planning a Yard Sale (because I'm a Money making machine...when the Day After Thanksgiving is coming) Well Craig (for those of you who don't know is my husband) kept telling me not to have a yard sale...well after a while of me being a BRAT and telling him to get lost I'm having a yard sale....he told me he had planned ...all on his own a weekend away for the two of us on the beach! For those of you who know us I'm the planner...HE IS NOT! So this is a big deal. We went to the hotel (which had my Birthday announced on the marquee) that night and spent the weekend! We looked for shells (which is a favorite activity for me) When to dinner, and it wouldn't be me if we didn't set the tripod up and take our pictures...it was the best weekend ever...oh by the way...no cell phones or laptops...ahhhh! So thank you for letting me ramble but I wanted to share my amazing weekend and let you know although 31 does sting it's not too bad...so far!

I absolutely HATE feeding the seagulls....but anything for a cool shot...AND I definately got that! I LOVE these! And just think I didn't get pooped on! Look at her face...Absolutely Precious!

Steve & Deidre

What a fun wedding! Deidre and Steve were definately made for each other....As you will be able to see from the pictures this wedding was fun!

Never Have I felt sorry for a bride (and not for who she is marrying) but Poor Deidre, who planned every intricate detail of her special day down to the poka dots and red converses, had the flu...yes the flu! She was a sick girl (ya'll pray for her)! I wanted to get a few of the pictures on here so they could enjoy them before thier honeymoon! I would like to say Thanks to this couple for letting be part of thier big day and to everyone involved for making it so much fun. Also to Kim Broxson for being so organized and keeping everything running so smoothly! He kept up with Facebook through his phone all day!

I love this it has to been my favorite and the most telling of who this couple is!

Let me tell you how great this couple is! Not only are they starting a life together...they are starting it healthy..they both have lost a huge amount of weight (as Scott would say he lost a Backstreet Boy) I am so impressed with them both. And on top of that they are in LOVE! I can't wait until April to see these two finally become one! (maybe then they'll lose the whole band :)
